I currently work as a Policy Officer in East Lothian Council. My previous employment has included working in the third sector in a number of roles including community care, family support, youth work and research and evaluation. In my current post I am involved in consultation and engagement and community planning.
Why did you become involved with the board?
I first became involved as a Director of HCDT in November 2014 because I felt that the Trust had real potential to bring about positive change in Haddington. My involvement so far has been really rewarding and I feel excited and inspired about what’s in the pipeline for the Trust over the coming year.
What is your connection to Haddington?
I moved to Haddington 12 years ago and love living and working in the town. I have two primary school aged children who would agree that Haddington is great place to grow up.
What else do you do?
I am currently trying to develop an early morning running habit and am, with trepidation, planning my first 10k for some point in 2016!
